Our History: A Journey of Faith and Home

The story of United in Him Christian Fellowship is one of faith, mission, and migration, tracing its roots to the desire to expand the Gospel and build community across Southern California.

The Founding: The Hesperia Branch

Our church was initially established as a branch of Community Christian Center in Covina, CA. The early ministry was focused in the Hesperia area, where our current United in Him pastors served as Associate Pastors, providing the core leadership and vision for the new community of faith.

Defining Our Identity

The fellowship experienced significant transitions in the years that followed. In 2011, under the leadership of Pastor Dennis and Denise, the church relocated and was re-established as the Community Christian Center Baldwin Park. During this time, the congregation embraced a new identity, officially changing its name to United in Him Christian Fellowship. This name change reflected our deep commitment to unity and fellowship rooted in our shared faith in Christ

A Path To Covina

The past several years involved some short-term moves and some moves that lasted a some years. Through all this we have been in the constant process of finding a permanent home of our own. After the move from Hesperia we jumped around from Baldwin Park, then the fellowship moved to Covina, and later to Glendora when even at one point because we had no home we spent our summer having church on Pastors front lawn, before the cold months hit we were able to find temporary housing in Glendora. After Glendora we spent some time in San Dimas. Today we finally have a home of our own and have returned back to the city of Covina. Praise God!

Ministries: The Life of Our Fellowship

Today, the foundation laid through years of commitment and migration is expressed in a vibrant, multi-generational ministry focused on growth, teaching, and outreach. Our core ministries include:

• Evangelism/Outreach: Sharing the message of Christ in the community and beyond.
• Children’s Ministry: Laying a strong spiritual foundation for our youngest members.
• Youth Ministry: Equipping middle and high school students to walk in faith.
• Young Adults: Building community and supporting those transitioning into adulthood.
• Bible Study: Deepening our understanding of Scripture through consistent teaching.
• Fellowship: Cultivating strong relationships and unity among our members.
